I'm a fanatical designer, knitter, crocheter - it is so very gratifying to start with a strand of yarn and with a few simple tools and produce a functional knitwear piece that can be worn or used for years to come.

The name of my shop : bpPhotoProps is a shortened version of Babbidge Patch Photo Props; this new photo prop shop was opened as a forum for my unique, one of a kind creations that are most suited for professional photography shoots - come in, browse, let me know if you have questions or would like something made just for you.

Many of my designs are inspired by our world's natural resources - such as the cute owl hats. My house is nestled in a wooded corner of coastal Falmouth, Maine and we are so fortunate to have nesting Barred Owls in the nearby woods - they have a unique call, "Who, who, who whooo... " and as the young owlets grow in the early summer months, they can often be heard around 2:00 or 3:00am trying out their cute voices.
